I got all the exotic armour I was missing for each character from the Vex strike force event on Neomuna. There’s a twitter bot that sends an alert a few minutes before one is due to start.

For example, the newest titan chest piece is something that I do not have. I need to do a lost sector or the neomuna public event in order for that chest piece to drop from the world loot pool. Been like this since beyond light introduced the lost sector system and only this season have you been able to unlock new exotics from the neomuna public event. The exotic that you do not choose at the end of the light fall campaign does not enter the world loot pool until you unlock it from the two sources I listed in my first reply.
