Don't try to pretend...
... that you think The Immortal is "overpowered" when things like Quicksilver Storm, Vex Mythoclast, Witherhoard, Le Monarque, Jötunn, Osteo Striga from around a corner on an entirely different planet, Arc Warlock hella teleport instant win button melee, Peregrine Greaves, literally any sidearm, literally any shotgun, especially slug shotguns that fire heat-seeking school buses, unflinching sniper rifles, unflinching hand cannons, aimbot Weighted Throwing Knives that'll go through your plumbing to hit you in real life and never miss, etc. etc. etc. and so much more exists in this game :/
You're only seeing it because it's brand new. Go spend a few minutes in Trials, get your freebie too, then have a Coke and a smile.

The immortal is merely flavor of the month, next month it will be something else, there will always be outliers its how they sell their expansions and seasons

Immortal is OP but not as bad as being are saying or as much as usage dictates. It will be nerfed but I hope not into the ground. Ikelos and Tarrabah too.

1 ReplyWhile it may be the case that everyone is reacting so strongly to Immortal because it is the new hotness, keep in mind that one thing that sets it apart from the Exotics you listed is that it is [i][b]not[/b][/i] Exotic. One of the inherent balancing factors for any given Exotic weapon is that it prevents you from equipping another Exotic weapon at the same time. Because Immortal is free from this restriction, it can be paired with a strong Exotic Special or Heavy weapon. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)
