Shaxx is easily my favorite character in destiny. He’s funny, charismatic, heroic, he’s got it all. Except plot relevance. It does not need to be pvp related, though a crucible season would breathe much life into the mode, but even a pve season, Shaxx has the potential for a great deal of characterization and plot. He has the personality to carry a season much like
clovis until he got eaten by Rasputin
and Saint 14. Bungie is sitting on an untapped fountain of fun and humor. He is a character that only has plot relevance in the lore and then as a warlord in his past. He has history with the drifter, is a seasoned war hero, and is a character that embodies everything great about this game. Do you agree? Any other good ideas you wanna share? Feel free to do so I love discussions.

I've thought about this in the past and made a post about it. Season of the redjack. Redjack of course would be the seasonal title seal to unlock. This season would introduce 8 new crucible maps released 1 each week. The seasonal ritual would be clearing these pvp maps of pve enemies to make them suitable for crucible training. Then that weeks trials map would be the new map. I'm thinking a subplot between shaxx and Saladin going back and forth about their past. Then when iron banner comes, there would be a community event where guardians side with either shaxx or Saladin and winning games would add favor to the one you sided with and at the end of the event the favor gets added up and the one with the most is crowned top lord or something like that. The current destiny story is a little too dark and narratively has no room to put in a more silly season like this in but it would be an awesome season after L&D saga concludes.

Edited by GMDeece7: 2/16/2023 2:56:31 AMWe’ve had 2 primary focused pvp seasons. Season of the drifter, and season of the worthy. Both were met with heavy criticism and scorn. Both were considered failures and the worst seasons of their respective expansions. Bungie is unlikely going to consider a pvp focused seasons, considering how every pvp focused one has been a major flop and low points for the game.

I'd like a nice training montage with Shaxx.
-
Bro he already banged Mara I think he’s got enough lmao

Season of the-ARCITE, BRING ME MY HAGGUS
-
It would be nice to have something like that and it might come on light falls final season…not shaxx per say but they wanted to touch up on some more ritual activities on the last season. Whereas a Season that builds around Shaxx as a character? I honestly think it would have to be after The Final Shape, but it would be awesome if we could have that.

Shaxx needs a kick in the butt
-
Maybe in Destiny 3
-
Season of gambit 🤢
-
Season of shax from bungie - no new PvP maps, quest line involves playing 100 rift games, talking to characters in between every match, and playing 100 time control matches each week
-
Hear me out... What about an entire season dedicated to Rift?
-
Season of the Lag

Season of the map pack, game modes, servers and fixing MM.
-
Prefer for him to be left alone lol before it ends up with a season where Shaxx and Zavala kiss.
-
My only worry is that they would downgrade his legend somehow.
-
Yes but also no. I used to have favourite characters back in D1 but they either killed them off in D2 like Cayde-6 or turned them into pompous -blam!- like Osiris. So sometime they are best left a mystery.
-
Had a whole season of pain related to Drifter/Gambit, so why not one for Shaxx and Crucible? I personally think it's long overdue.
-
Yeeeesss! Shaxx would be the perfect replacement for a comedic relief total badass since we lost Cayde lol
-
Shax needs to toss Zavalas -blam!- over the rail
-
I agree with this^

Edited by cedar: 2/15/2023 10:13:16 AMshaxx's character development needs to happen sooner rather than later. i hope that if a season brings him into the spotlight he doesn't go bat snit crazy due to that ahamkara skull that hangs above him taking over his thoughts and goes wako. as for saint-14, i think he is perfectly suited to be out of the limelight. i don't titan but it would be cool if his helm got the og perk back where enemies are blinded when they enter his bubble. would be pretty clutch if crotas raid turns into a dungeon, etc

That’s what Im saying
