BUG Xbox Series X: vault access is severely broken, all portals, since seasonal event update

Vault access is severely broken via all portals (Tower, Enclave, H.E.L.M.) since the latest seasonal event started. I am unable to view weapon traits, change weapon perks, or infuse unlike items within an allowed category (eg energy weapons). Like items will infuse from character to vault normally. Needless to say, for a large, limited space inventory, this is extremely tedious to work around. Platform is Xbox Series X on a wired connection to a wireless bridge (two Netgear R7000's averaging 400Mbps with no packet loss), internet is Comcast / Xfinity, speed tier is 600Mbps down, 25Mbps up via a Motorola DOCSIS 3.1 modem. UPDATE: this appears to be a forever bug that occurs during Festival of the Lost. I wish that Bungie would take some that Sony money and fix it. Also fix PVP matchmaking while your under the hood.
