It'd probably still suck as an option.

  • It’s not the worst perk. Can easily shave off a decent chunk of time getting your super depending on the add density.

I don't think so. Right now Thresh grants 1% additional super energy on all primary weapons. 2,5% on special weapons. All 1% from player kills. Now imagine, as I said, the amount would double if your subclass matches the guns element. 2% for primaries then and whole 5% for special weapons... For EACH AI kill. You would only need 20 special weapon kills to get a full super, if your subclass matches. That's almost same super gain levels as D1 had. And it would work exclusively in PvE! Imagine the possibilities. Instead of needing 2 Warlocks for Well of Radiance in a Raid you would only need 1. You could get 2 supers in a single Rhulk damage phase...

  • Well that's assuming between each phase you had the number of enemies necessary to build up your super. If it's 2% per kill (plus whatever the enemies drop when they die) then it could be 40+ enemies you've gotta kill with your primary. Your special would also be more for tough add clear/boss damage. I can't imagine people burning special ammo for supers in raids or nothing. I understand what what the purpose of this perk is supposed to be, but it's just unnecessary...especially if your special or primary would benefit more from their damage dealing perks (firing line, vorpal, etc).

  • I am not using a single primary/special weapon with damage perk in raids and still do fine. You don't need them really, heavy weapons aside. Also, those were just examples for endgame content, we also have dungeons and such.
