So by now everyone has been pretty vocal about the changes to pvp in control. Gotta say, I am certainly empathetic to the sentiments.
I think Bungie made a rushed decision.
I'm not sure why, with as good as they typically are with communication, there wasn't some sort of community discussion on why people quit out of matches. Bungie should have done a better job understanding the source problems instead of just whipping out the big stick. Considering all they've had to do to implement changes for cheaters and hackers you would think they understand why a lot of people quit in the first place.
Now, idk about you all, but I'm not about to sit in ANY lobby and just take punishment because "SBMM" has me once again on a team that goes all sub 1.0 k/d and the opposing team all goes 2.0 with NO mercy, for 3-4 consecutive matches....which is another issue, actually.
I feel like the numbers or what needs to happen to trigger mercy has been fondled without players knowledge. It is still VERY common for me to see a score of 40 to 110 and the game plays out to the end. Point blank...people DON'T LIKE GETTING BEAT UP ON.
