Control but no glory
If you're going to treat control like a comp playlist then I should get comp rank for playing it. Control is supposed to be a fun hang with friends game mode, but you've turned it into survival without any of the benefits of it being survival. Honestly, if you did make it a legit comp playlist I'd probably play it more. I don't like survival much but I do want 5500, Solod my way there once to get not forgotten, but I want a more chill way to play. You should do that and also add like rumble supremacy for a ffa comp playlist and have all the rotating ones become the fun hang out playlist.

I have said this many times before there is no separation between rank and social because there is no rank. Because there is no rank you have people who want to try hard and others who want to do bounties/goof around. Survival is supposed to be semi ranked but there is nothing to really show for it, no incentive. That is why trials is the go too even though it promotes everything wrong with the game. I don't understand why they don't just add ranks 1-50 like they did in halo 2/3. Have a ranked control and a social control. Social stats should not even be recorded nor should it be mixed with rank KD. I don't like the onyx ranking system it's basically survival without an onyx emblem, And the parameters are so open that matches will alot of the time be lopsided because it's looking for a range instead of a direct number. They try to meet somewhere in the middle where no one will be satisfied. Split it up, Bungie has the resources and definitely the money to do it. They just don't have this as a priority and are looking for a quick bandaid fix.
