Leaver's Penalty for Control

Being timed out for leaving matches in control is not ideal. Most people do not want to be forced to play a map they don't enjoy. Most people don't even want to play the pvp gamemodes, but now you are punishing them for leaving a map they dislike. One idea I would suggest for fixing the leaving maps issue is to introduce a map voting feature so that players have, at least, some say in the map they are going to play next once they have joined the lobby. Although others seem to think sbmm has no effect on people leaving and there are statistics to prove this or that, I will say, a lot of the community has noticed an extreme uptick in people leaving the match early since the change to stricter sbmm. This would be something to look into, that being, revert the change of sbmm back to what it was in previous seasons. Control is a casual gamemode and should be treated as such. You should be able to load directly into a match almost instantly, pure connection based, and play with any loadout you want, and with some experience, see some success.

  • Pretty bad decision as matchmaking is still a thing they have to improve

  • Literally the worst decision Bungie could have made. Bye player base making it even more un enjoyable for the average player good job. It's now where sweats go to KD farm. Who ever is in charge of crucible needs to be fired. UN inspiring maps, horrible match making and now -blam!- rules in quick play 🤦‍♀️

A: 5v6ing a map you dislike. I think a voting system would be good, but I also think receiving a time out for screwing over 6 players because someone doesn't like the map is good, too. Say the one you hate wins the vote, what then?

It’s almost as if there could be a choice in your settings to be able to toggle whether you want cbmm or sbmm in your matches 🤔 or is this just way too logical? 😂

      • The issue is cbmm was so bad pretty much every matches outcome was able to be determined before a single bullet was shot and people are complaining about the horrible matchmaking of other gamemodes which still use cbmm so instead of cbmm they need a NEW matchmaking system.
