The point of the post is - I don’t want to have to spend time managing gear. It is a trade-off I would not have to make if they did a fix to vault size or to the way collections works. And yes, I played a couple weeks ago for an hour or so to see the new season, I’m down about 99% from my peak playtime.

I totally get that sentiment. The truth is, I really would rather just not play for the most part than have to deal with figuring out what the new meta is and what to trash. It’s just too big a time investment over other things I could do. Destiny seems to me built to pull casual players into a serious time investment. That could be largely fixed with either 1) me not caring about what the game wants me to care about (the loot part of loot and shoot) and just trashing things. Or 2) bumping the inventory limits. I only have control over the first….
