I like how preservation let's people do the start of Vow Raid, wouldn't it be good if they did a simplified version of each encounter, rewarding powerful gear. It would give people who don't get to raid the opportunity to learn the mechanics (an easier/simplified version) of each encounter. Would also give people the chance to get raid weapons/armor (just not deepsight versions or high stat pieces)
Since you can technically get the Trials gear/weapons without going flawless (just weaker versions). This would be very helpful for solo players as they could put matchmaking on it. They could even scale up the difficulty by adding different bits of the mechanics to each level. For example for Atheon, Adept would just be the location to show how it moves/attacks. Hero could add using the portal and simple confluxs to get the damage phase. Legend could add the relic. Then master would just be a lower hp version of the actual encounter.

I hope they do something like this for Lightfall. I don't see them adding raid weapons, but for a lot of us who don't raid as often it was an awesome experience. I liked that we get a pinnacle too. Just think of all the people who didn't get to see Spire, or other raids. This gives us an opportunity to experience locations otherwise we would never see.

I liked it the first time, but it's start is so slow and so boring that I only do it for the pinnacle. I really hate it now

Just raid if you want to experience the raid

no We don't need easy version of raid ....especially easy version of raids that drop loot Do like everyone's and go raids ...everyone start somewhere some was sooner some are later ....learn the raids and mechanics and soon enough you won't need this ideas of yours

Eh, sounds cool on paper but realistically it would be a waste of resources for Bungie. Their mindset is probably like “they should just do the raid” Preservation brought lore and other explorables along with it, i’m not sure how they could replicate that.
