THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME!
EDIT:
Two weeks after I made this thread, I noticed it had 10 pages of discussion. Cool I guess.
EDIT #2:
Almost a year after I made this thread, I noticed it had 37 pages of discussion. Neat I guess.
The show is being thoroughly discussed and there are obviously major spoilers. If you haven't seen it yet, avoid this thread.
Thanks for all the discussion on this masterpiece of a series.
EDIT #3:
Season 3 starts tonight. Thanks to everybody for keeping this thread strong for almost 2 years and discussing this great show.
100 pages of discussion. Pretty sweet I guess.
Posted by: westpointusma15 It's going to be hard to beat that movie (28 Days Later was better IMO, but DotD '04 had better action). Did tonight have two episodes of Walking Dead? or did they just have the premiere on twice in a row? I haven't seen it yet, I'll watch the recording tomorrow.
Just one episode but they replayed it
Posted by: westpointusma15
Posted by: AngryBrute1 It was pure amazing!!!! Best zombie show next to 2004's Dawn of the Dead!! Every aspect was perfect! From the emotion to the action! I cant wait to see where this is going!
It's going to be hard to beat that movie (28 Days Later was better IMO, but DotD '04 had better action). I am sorry. also- your coup looks like a zombie.
-
ARGH god damn, can we start putting **SPOILERS** at the start of your posts people? Some of us don't live in America!
-
I loved every minute of it! I liked how emotionally gripping it was, not that I cried, but it was nice to see anything to do with zombies be more dramatic and emotional, it will do a lot of good for the show. Looking forward to the rest of it.
Posted by: Spartan2447 I thought it was very good emotional too SPOILERS!!! Anyone else think it was really noble how he traveled to where he encountered his first zombie then tracked her down and put her out of her misery?
Yeah, that entire sequence with Duane's dad attempting to put down his wife, and Rick returning to the park to put down Bicycle girl were absolutely gripping. I was quite literally at the edge of my seat, which is something no other show has done before.

God damn, it was awesome. I thought it'd be awful, seeing as the comic series has the weakest storyline ever (but amazing artwork). The show kept to the story, but somehow made it a million times more engaging.
-
Holy hot dicks from hell, that was good. I'm sorry, but that is the only way I could put it. It was scary, gripping, and... It was just amazing. I cannot wait for next week. Also, anyone saying that it copied 28 Days Later (Well, actually most of you guys are saying they're similar, and that's it,) should probably know that the first issue of the comic came out about a month before 28 Days Later. So unless Kirkman saw the movie early, there was no copying involved. [Edited on 10.31.2010 9:12 PM PDT]

It IS real. AMC makes plenty of money to murder someone and use them in a movie, but don't worry its not a person, just an intern.
-
that body looks so real in the hospital
-
God that show was awesome.
-
That deputy is one luck SOB. I counted him being saved by luck four times. *survived gunshot* *managed to survive hospital despite sleeping* *zombies in street(maybe)* *hole in the tank* I lol'd when I could tell he was about to shoot inside the tank. [Edited on 10.31.2010 8:44 PM PDT]

I loved this whole show. AMC knows how to make great television. But... poor horesy. Q_Q
-
that nick nolte looking zombie at the end looked like he knew what was going on.
-
Posted by: WolfmanMaverick That little girl getting shot in the head is even better the second time.
It's kind of freaky that the zombies are semi-intelligent. It's like shooting a puppy, but with a little girl's face.

it gets the atri walrus of approval

What's the big deal with this show?
-
I liked it. The fact that it doesn't have a big movie budget and that the zombies are shamblers brings the genre back to its roots.
-
Posted by: Bman EZ When he turned the corner and there was just a mass of zombies sitting there. I yelled "HOOOOOOORRRDDDEEEE!!!!" LOL
Dude yeah, and when he was under the tank I was like " How in the -blam!- can you get out of this!?" lol
