Do Stats on armor typically go missing?

I master worked a Praefectus Helm for my titan yesterday and all my strength stats disappeared. Prior to finalizing the masterwork, I had 12 strength and now it's an empty bar with no number at the end. Is there a fix for this? Is this a common issue? Would love to have my strength back. Any help is welcome
