• Just by Reading your Responses...Ya, you have no idea what "Elitist/Elitist" Mentality is. Just throwing that word around and not use it right. It's like if I just started calling people Bookshelves. "Found a Bookshelf boys". 🤷

  • Go look up the word “elitist” in the dictionary then come back. One, none of this is elitist two, if you can’t complete the activity you don’t deserve the loot.

Elitist mentality. I agree that if you don’t complete you should be rewarded. But in a mod that has cards that can track wins. Then why not reward people with loot at 7? But lock specific things like adept mods/cosmetics to going flawless? The reason trials is hates so much is because of how sweaty it is with sweat teams resetting constantly. Having an option to reward people for their time would increase population.

Elitist definition, relating to or supporting the view that a society or system should be led by an elite. In nowhere does that say that your inability to complete a flawless trials card should entitle you to any sort of loot. The people who go flawless aren’t the only ones allowed to give input on the game or control the game, not elitist.

  • It’s a mentality bro. Not a literal description. Calm down and log off for the day.

How is it an elitist mentality? The definition of the word elitist is there. There is no mentality that only top players should be allowed to give feedback or vote for things about the game. Not elitist, the in game community is not controlled by the elite. Stop throwing around words without knowing what they mean. You’re the one who needs to take a break, get a grip and stop ruining the challenges in the game. You’re literally in a clan named after map jumping in trials, your lack of skill and lack of cool experiences playing the game are a direct result of you looking for free loot and cheeseing all day.🥸

  • Trials one day was a beaut challenge. It’s now turned into a toxic sweat fest which makes it harder for the non full time pvp’rs. Still sitting on a bandwagon that those that don’t full time pvp and sweat it out should be with held good loot (sometimes the best loot), when there is opportunity to fix it. Is an elitist mentality because yourself think you and others like it should hold the reward whilst others can’t.

That’s not elitist at all, read the definition I copy pasted it for you. Completing a challenge for a reward is not an elitist system. Completing school for a degree is not elitist. It’s just a set path of challenges to do in order to receive a thing. As I said your lack of skill and fun experiences is a direct result of your crappy mentality. Loot is not control over the games changes and community. Not elitist.

  • No. He just thinks that if you want the best stuff, you should work for it. The game shouldn’t just give you the best stuff for just playing.

  • If you want stuff. Work for it. It’s the way life works. Stop looking for handouts. I don’t get what’s “elitist” about telling someone to work for their stuff…

  • Dude just stop. It’s elitist. There’s working for something. Then making it almost exclusive to a certain group. Which trials traditionally has been.

  •
…Then making it almost exclusive to a certain group. Which trials traditionally has been.
If your good you get in. If your not you don’t. It’s like if some High Schooler wanted an NFL trophy because he won a few games for his team, but also lost 30.

  • Ok so now I understand. If people want you to work for something… If they want you to actually earn something… they are an elitist… got it…

  • How is working hard for something elitist? I don’t think that every Mr. NoThumbs should be able to just waltz in and get some Adepts. That means that Adepts aren’t Adepts if just anyone can get them. Imagine a mid-tier player working hard to get flawless. He worked to win (like people do in life). Then some random blueberry can just walk in and get the same stuff. If you want something earn it. It’s not elitist to say that you shouldn’t get something for free just because you want to.

  • Working hard is great and fine. You have no standing telling me, (I assume others) who've tried really hard to get better and just can't to git gud and "work for it". If I happen to have a weapon in my inventory, why do you care? You can still earn the flawless title and guild it. I think elitists just feel entitled to adept flawless loot because Bungie put it there. There's nothing stopping them from removing that requirement in the future and I hope they do. I mean, it's about time a decision they make that some don't like goes my way for once

  • No, adept weapons should be attainable for those that cant sweat hard enough. Ive gone flawless so many times I lost count. There is nothing special about it bruh, be honest with yourself, you just want to feel good about yourself because other people don’t have what you have.

  • Just because you don't find Value in going Flawless, doesn't mean others like me don't. Guess how long it Took me to get my very First Flawless...... 7 Years. After 7 years of getting my @$$ kicked by Flawless Players, Month after Month, year after Year.......I finally Went Flawless. Got my First Ever Adept Weapon. Adepts need to stay Locked to Flawless only.

  • If they want the best stuff, they need to work for it. I don’t get it. They just want everything without any of the work. Getting seven wins is easy. Going flawless is not. So if you go flawless you get better stuff because you worked harder than the blueberry that just farmed for 3 hours. What’s the point of flawless anymore? What’s the point of going flawless if you get the same stuff as Mr. NoThumbs over there?

  • It's not easy for me. That's my point. For me, 7 wins is an achievement which I get just about nothing for except a Pinnacle. On non-feeelance weeks, I'm actually helping my opponents go flawless.
