An option to forfeit or cancel matches in Competitive and Trials
It would be nice to be able to save time and just leave the match without having to worry about having to abandon your team and potentially getting a timeout or something. In games like Rainbow Six Siege, your team can vote to cancel the match if vour team has less players than the opposing team. Destiny 2 currently has a system where if a player abandons a Trials match, they get a warning. If they keep leaving matches, they will get a penalty and get timed out (Not enough in my opinion. They should
have their cards wiped, broken, and they should be banned for the rest of the weekend), but that does nothing for the players they just left behind in the match. And this could happen on any match on your card and at any moment in the match. They just leave you in a 2v3. In this situation, it's not worth trying anymore. It's definitely possible to make a comeback, but chances are very low. So, when you have this unbalanced number of players in a match, the team with one less player (or more) should be given a prompt to vote to forfeit/cancel match or to continue. To prevent this from being abused in any sort of way, forfeiting/canceling the match will have to count as a loss. Point is to not waste peoples time. In such a competitive game mode, like in any other game, this would be nice to have in Destiny 2. I personally don't really ever abandon Trials matches. Guardians with honor don't just abandon their team. But for the fireteams that have to deal with those deceitful ones, they should be given the mercy to leave without having to endure the rest of the match.
