Back in update 3.4.0, it was stated that Warlocks melee got its 1 meter of range and suppression time reduced to match Hunters and Titan, however from testing in game, apparently the second part of that did not make it in.
In turn, Warlocks melee has the same range as Hunters and Titans, however, Hunters and Titans get get 8 melees off in the same time it takes Warlocks to hit 6 times, making it about 25% slower than what it should be.
Hopefully this can be logged and maybe fixed at some time as I remember a post from 2019 about it and since then we've had 2 updates from my knowledge that changed it but it's still not right just yet.
