Should I insta quit the 1st WQ mission?
So im a bit confused about how the legendary campaign rewards work. Because obviously you can’t do 99% of the campaign on normal and then launch the last mission on hard mode and expect to get all the good rewards cuz that would be…well kinda dumb, right? But then, does that mean 100% of the legendary campaign has to be completed to get the good rewards? Does that mean that when I log in on Tuesday and the game auto-launches me into a mission I should immediately go back to orbit in order to avoid locking myself out of rewards?
Is the move then log in, instaquit mission, grind comp for 10 PL to launch the legendary? Or am I missing something?

I think it'll work like it tracks the missions you've completed on legendary and THEN gives you the rewards once you've done them all, meaning you can do a mission on normal, complete the rest on the missions on legendary then come back to the original mission and finish it on legendary

You will load in with everything at 1350, the legendary campaign is 1360 with contest capping you at 1340. I expect the level to increase 10 per mission

As far as I remember, both Shadowkeep and Beyond Light didn’t insta insert you into a mission upon login. I thinks it’s more of seasonal quest thing but I could be wrong.

Nah, you just repeat the first mission on Legendary later. The fact that you did it first on normal doesn't impact your ability to get the final rewards. In fact, you can mix and match normal/legendary as you see fit. You get the final Legendary rewards once you've done them all on legendary, in any order.

3 RepliesI think you'll be insta placed into the first mission of the season to get your artifact and after that you'll be able to manually launch witch queen missions at least that's what makes the most sense

How it works is you can replay missions you've beaten and when you beat a legendary campaign mission you get bonus loot and much better loot like the new exotics so don't worry

3 RepliesIt may not auto-launch into the campaign may be a cutscene first. You will need to go to the tower or the helm first I think to see Ikora. Then you will be given the campaign and then you choose normal or legendary. I could be completely wrong so??
