Console needs Ingame-Voice Chat loudness settings.

Hey Bungie, quick feedback post about the voice chat. I am playing on Xbox and I can't make the ingame voice chat louder. My only option is to make the game very low in loudness or mute it completely. As far as I know, PC version has voice chat loudness settings. We need that on Console too. Especially since we get Keyboard support for the text chat soon with WQ/this year. I want to play with Playstation and PC players. But that is not really possible if the chat doesn't work or is not loud enough. Thanks in advance. Edit: Evidence that the settings are not on Xbox Edit 2: For those of you using a PC AND a Console, you can possibly change the settings if your game settings are changed global on your crossplay account. Just change the settings within PC version and it should apply it to console as well. This does not remove the need for Console sliders tho.

  • Pc players use discord, I don’t see that changing honestly since discord provides far more options to players than ingame chat ever will. I’d suggest just getting that on your phone, plus the best lfg for the game is on there and the inapp chat rooms in the lfg are pretty popular too

    • Agreed. I almost always have to turn down the game volume to 1 or 2 if I want to hear my team mates clearly.

    • definitely have an issue with it - ended up turning SFX, or whatever the middle sound toggle is to 2 which helped reduce ambient noise so I can hear people better. That's why I prefer Discord or PSN chat over in game

    • Yeah, I can see how thats an issue. If you dont have a headset with a mixer you're SOL there

    • We had voice loudness setting. Bungie deleted it with words - "it didn't worked anyway".

    • Game chat only is in game settings and headset itself, party chats you can raise or lower individual voices, at least you can on ps.
