No more limited RNG exotics, or remove collections from seals
39 tries and no Vex still. Why is this shit possible? It's the last thing I need for the seal, which was my main goal since descendant, and I have no control over getting it. Just gotta wait until I'm not shit on by your RNG system, right?
Quit requiring the collections for the seal, or have more reliable and fun ways to earn the different things from them. Some stupid ass RNG drop is not mastery of the raid like the other triumphs are. Have the exotic be a quest, or farmable, or from certain feats like flawless or higher drop chance from master. You could actually just have your bad luck protection reach 100% for those who've done every possible looted clears the same week the seal becomes available.
You came out and said that you don't want seals tied to RNG, but here we are 2 collections-required raid seals later. Destiny raids are some of, if not the greatest content this studio has ever produced, and this shit just sours that. This isn't fun, and it doesn't increase your playtime metric. If you want me to play more, I'll play more when I can enjoy my Title and getting to try out the gun. Being rammed in the ass by your frankly dogshit RNG raid exotic system makes me just skip doing all the different things I could have done for the week, or grinding out other seals and content. This shits not fun, it makes people not want to play the game, please look it over for Witch Queens raid.
You people who are so eager to bask in people's frustration and defend this garbage RNG system, save your shitty little comments. Just because you didn't get your Eyes, or your crux, or your 1k until your 800th clear doesn't mean everyone else should have to put up with this. The system was bad in the past, which is why it should be improved and fixed for everyone.

Completely agree.. after the third run today I just quit out of Destiny. There is nothing in the game I care about doing for the rest of the week. I don’t care about about “the journey” I don’t play for the journey… I play for the loot, whether it’s good or bad. As for the lame ass ending to the splicer season… can’t afford the old voice actors? Can’t be bothered “fixing” faction rallies…. Nah just write them out… too busy copy and paste nerfing to fix anything.

This is exactly why I don’t bother raiding anymore. I’m not going to the trouble of rounding up 5 other guardians to do the same encounters over and over, week after week, only to get nothing for the time invested just because my RNG is horrendous. All raid exotics should be tied to a quest, or require a flawless run to acquire it. Maybe even both could be ways to obtain these weapons. Meaning that if you go flawless but don’t run the quest, you’d still get it.

Yep yep...ive done every vog possible since day one. Completed every challenge Got every gear from this raid Every godroll Every timelost weapons with godrolls too Did the challenges multiple times to help Did sherpas And still no vex :/ I was starting to do my 3 vog at the reset..then after not getting vex on the 2nd character...i gave up doing the third. I wont waste my time in this raid anymore, i give up on vex. They can keep their gatcha system rewarding players that do not play a lot with vex EVERYTIME.

If you know game development, maybe you can make your own destiny killer? I'd love to play it. None of the current Destiny killers do it for me.

RNG adds value to exotic weapons, and id like them t ostay that way, i do agree however it shouldnt be mandatory for the title.

Not to mention VOG is a boring raid, with 2 rooms total. I don’t want Vex and the seal is pointless. Just means you are willing to do a boring raid over and over again. I never even equipped the Descendant seal.

Got vex on my 24 run and it’s complete garbage. The only good part is it’s linear fusion part it’s actually really good but otherwise is garbage it does terrible damage without the linear fusion form and it gets outclassed by the meta.

I was shocked as hell when I received mine. I think it was at… 20 clears. It typically takes 40+ clears for me. I got 1k voices in 48 clears. 62 for anarchy. And another 66 for eyes. Tarrahbah is the only other exotic I earned early, with just 9 clears. Aka, I typically have terrible raid exotic rng.

I agree I still no have vex mytho on my 39 looted clear It’s not fun anymore I get sick of it If next raid will be exotic RNG I have enough

Stupid as* Bungie forcing us to play the raid…

6 RepliesThe issue isnt the game. Its you. RNG like this has been a core part of destiny for the past 7 years. If you dont like it why are you still playing? The rewuirements for the raid seal are always the same and require the exotic. You know this going in yet still go for it?
