Woke up this morning and discovered Bungie nerfed my Clan.

Logged in and found a message from Bungie indicating that my Clan was violating a “Disruption/Evasion” clause of the code of conduct. What the hell does that even mean? Anyway, as a result, our Clan Name, Motto, Callsign, and About sections have all been wiped clean. This clan has been in place, with the same members, since D1. The content of our Clan page has been in place at least since we returned to Destiny 2 after a two year break back in August of 2020. We have Nine (9) members. Three that are very active. Three that are semi-active. And Three that are pretty-much inactive. Our Clan was called “The Nine Aren’t Impressed”. Our Callsign was “TNAI”. We suck. We know it, we own it, we embrace it. So, we decided to advertise it. I’m not sure how our Clan Name or motto can violate Code of Conduct. All of a sudden, this small group of people need to have an Administrative slap-down?!? Why after a year would Bungie just decide to wipe us off the map? I’m inclined to just disband the MF’er and don’t bother with Clans anymore. Seems to me that the Code of Conduct is designed to serve Bungie, Bungie and Bungie,… screw the community. I’m probably more irritated by this than actually upset and it will all pass in a day or so. I’m glad this happened now before I decided to spend any more money on this game. Congratualtions Bungie (And your parent company Microsoft),…. You’ve just lost another customer. Post Edit: The clan has been disbanded. I don’t -blam!-ing care anymore.
Moderator edit: This thread has been updated with tags that are more appropriate. • One of Bungie's employees probably looked at your Clan name and jumbled it around until it spelt something that they could be offended by.

Damn. I knew Bungie moderation was ass but not that ass. I got a strike under the same “rule” for replying “cringe” to someone’s comment. Also once got into an argument with a forum mod that they started and they forum banned me for a month. 😐

        • Our clan has seen a few of these. We had a disgruntled clan member that was kicked out and has since reported us almost every time we change out callsign and/or clan name. It’s a pain, and unfortunately bungie has not been able to do much about it

I got one once for jokingly saying a streamer was like an aim bot. The streamer I was talking about is my favourite and it was meant as a compliment and in no way implying they were using cheats. When people have power you just have to hope they have the mental capacity and maturity to handle that power correctly. From your post, it doesn’t appear there is anything offensive there, maybe you’ll get some sort of explanation in the future.
