Destiny 2 is a fantastic but depressing example of how NOT to launch an expansion or roll out new seasonal content. To the best of my memory, not a single launch of any season or expansion over the last, almost, five years have been anything less than a miserable failure. In your 5/13/2021 TWAB you called the season 14 launch, a "Hiccup"! That was the grossest understatement of the year considering many of you customers couldn't access the game they paid for, for several days. Bungie, seriously, COVID can't be used as an excuse for anything before Beyond Light, and can you say with a straight face to yourselves in the mirror these launches have been fantastic and went exactly as planned. If you can then your idea of a good plan needs a massive "Hot Fix" this Hot Minute! The best example of poor choices a business makes such as yourself is "Hot Fixes"! "Hot Fixes", by their very nature expose the hypocrisy of Bungie and shows us what you really think of us, your customers. This is the rubber that meets the road, as they say! Your actions are loud and clear on this one. Here's where you expose yourselves as hypocrites. When a needed upgrade to your servers caused a very serious communication problem between Bungie and ISP's that negatively impacts thousands of your customers and their in-game quality of life you ignore us! And you know it! That's how we see you and we believe that's STINKIN' THINKIN on your part Bungie!! I can't say that any clearer. That must change! Here's the facts: FACT: In the 6 months leading up to September 26th, 2020 my personal home networking system received no changes of any kind and I NEVER once received a BABOON error code followed by a BAT error code in Survival or any other game mode. FACT: At, 10:00 am PST on September 22nd, 2020, "Hot Fix 2.9.2.1" was downloaded and installed. Baboon errors begin immediately and increasingly happen in every game mode yet Survival is the only one a penalty is incurred. FACT: From September 21st, 2020 to September 23rd, 2020 (after the update) MY SYSTEM NEVER CHANGED! XFINITY DIDN'T CHANGE THEIR SYSTEM or equipment either! The only thing that changed was something that Bungie installed on the backend we have never been told about. FACT: This was, in fact, caused by Bungie's Hot Fix 2.9.2.1 causing a direct failure between BUNGIE and only Xfinity/Shaw Customers with Arris XB6 Home Gateway routers. [u][b]FACT: Between 11/12/2020 and 05/11/2021 I received ABSOLUTELY ZERO BABOON EJECTIONS FROM THE GAME And I never changed one single wire or setting on my system![/u] When a mindless moderator replied to someone's cry for help on the forums by stating that we needed to contact our service provider to have them change their protocols or get a better modem. That's pure f-ing hubris! So, upon reading that, I had to go gargle and rinsed with some Listerine after throwing up a little in my mouth from such a purely ignorant statement from the mindless mentor who still seems to have a job for some reason? Helpful Hint Bungie: When almost every response given to people asking for help is the same NEVER reassuring, default, [b][quote]"Bungie is aware of the known issue and are currently investigating"[/quote], (or some other mentally deficient version of those words reassembled), there's a significant disconnect from reality for your company![/b] Sadly, this is standard operating procedure for most of the technology industry, hence the reason why you all love help forums so damn much. Where do we turn when you ignore us and fail to support your product? Where do we turn when you fail to show any action in resolving problems with your creation, especially when they shouldn't have been there in the first place?
