I am once again asking for a Strike narrated by Shaxx
With Zavala doing swapsies for the crucible.

4 RepliesI’d pay double for a Shaxx centred expansion. The storyline is basically there…uses his red jacks to capture a crucible arena and accidentally unearths/releases “insert big bad here” and done. An expansion about him trying to do right and fix what he did. Imagine a massive battle scene with red jacks being destroyed left right and centre. A plus would be that some of the levels could turn into crucible maps if designed properly. Come on Bungo give the man some love

8 RepliesShaxx is a reservoir of untapped potential, he has had basically zero in-game character development. I would love for next season, or any future season, to be centred around him. We've seen that even bit-part characters like Lord Saladin and Amanda Holliday can be made to feel much more relevant with just a bit of seasonal dialogue. The exchanges between Drifter and Eris during Season of Arrivals were incredible, the writing of Mithrax this season is top-notch and the task of vilifying Lakshmi was accomplished with great ease. There is even a tangential reason why it [i]should[/i] involve him. It is well-known, from Season of Dawn, that Shaxx is very talented at singing, but the tune itself is Savathun's Song, as noted by Eris in Season of Arrivals and suggesting that he remove the skull that hangs above him in the Tower. This didn't happen, now more and more people have been infected by the song. Perhaps we could work with Shaxx to free people from the viral chant, ahead of Savathun's arrival? Just an idea.

Have it narrated by shax and saladin. Every time something fantastic happens during the strike, saladin would say that the young wolf truly is a iron Lord. Then shax would jump in and say he learnt that in the Crucible

4 RepliesAs someone who doesn't engage in PVP, when is the last time that Lenny James recorded new dialogue for Destiny 2? Aside from Lance Redick, most of the main stream Hollywood actors seem to have moved on from providing voice work for Destiny, now that Activision is out of the picture. Heck, I'm surprised they got Shohreh Aghdashloo to reprise her role as Lakshmi-2.

Shaxx has to have his redjacks manually clear out enemy areas to create maps to run crucible on so, canonically speaking since the redjacks are hot ass at dealing with enemies, he could have a strike team sent out to clear out an area for a map

I just want a season where he is the primary NPC that we work along side to deal with that season's story arc.

Shaxx says he’s tired of watching crucible feed from the same old areas for the past two years, and says it’s time for some territory to be claimed on Europa to bring freshness to the crucible, but since Europa is so concentrated with enemies and the darkness, he needs your help. You go through Europa and clear out an area from hostiles, and at the very end Shaxx deploys his redjacks to start preparing the area for guardians. Doing the strike then puts the map into crucible rotation. Both a PVE and PVP synergistic strike.

We need at least one strike about Shaxx and only Shaxx(and maybe a little bit of Cayde) but after we make that, we need one that equally features all of the PvP hosts constantly arguing about what we should do.
