Hm.. From the way you described it it sounds kinda bland. Admittedly most of these anime hack ‘em ups tend to sound kinda bland to me, though.
What would you say sets it apart? Anything keep it from becoming a mindless button masher?

There also seems to be a "Bond system" but it is not explored in game but essentially it just bolsters the powers you gain from your allies. Good thing demos are free. Edit: I do not think this game is going to fly (with you) because of Nier Automata (And possibly replicant (As I have not played it yet) ) being as good as it is. Well, even if it’s not as good as the best, that doesn’t necessarily mean I wouldn’t enjoy it, though. The only issue is it sounds like the gameplay is “Mash (attack) until telekinesis gauge is charged, use that, then mash (attack) again.”.

Yeah I ugh sorry. I can't really think off anything. I mean there is dodging and conter-striking for more damage but it just seems like standard fare all in all.
