A successful clan is that which has active, helping, loyal members. Members stay engaged in their own sense, ask for help when needed, help when needed. We have a optional joinable Discord which will plan to maybe 1 day make it requirement. one thing I wished I’d learned earlier was to get more people I trusted involved in things like leadership. We have some close friends In it but they don’t do things like inviting members, interacting with others, etc. so having more people then just yourself is what you want for leadership. Of course make sure their trusted :)

  • Welcome to the forum- thank you for your comments. We just went to making the Discord a requirement for membership because we found there were people in the background that weren't engaging or just "there". On your clan leader side: Are you saying there's some friction/or something to be desired with your admins? IF they're close friends- I can see where that can be a dicey situation for sure. Have you had a discussion with them privately to ask them if they want the role? Maybe they're just "doing it" since they feel like they can't say no. Can you please be more specific on how you keep your members engaged?

  • Clan Leader: No it’s that they don’t want to do it. So I’m saying I do all the inviting and stuff like that which honestly can be a bit of a burden from time to time, so getting some help from TRUSTED friends is a good idea... I’m not saying they are selfish or anything, I’m just saying that they don’t want to but doing the “growing part” alone can be “tiring” sometimes Members Engaged: well for the ones who joined the Discord we just talk there. Like if we were best friend and knew each other. But the ones off of it, some just wanna stay to their friends who are also in the clan but more away from the rest... so we do have some problems but we’ve been fixing it all up. Plus we use the D2 app clan chat originally (cause we Xbox based) to chat otherwise...
