  • Iron truage is most definitely inspired by ancient Japanese armor. From the onion bun, to the over lapping style of plates and even the face mask of the hunter screams it. I hope you’re not thinking it’s considered Viking because of “helmet horns”.

  • It most definitely does not look like ancient japanese to me. The titan screams viking, from the helmet horns, the fur on the chest, giant wolves on your shoulder etc.

  • I mean I can’t make you see what the rest of the community sees. Maybe google searching samurai armor with the titan truage set up for comparison would help. Even the wolf heads have an aesthetically pleasing Japanese edging design found similarly in the Ōkami game. I bet you are trolling me with the horns though. We all know that Viking didn’t have horns. My favorite reference to a great Nordic design that bungie did was the Ursa Furiosa. They have a concept and a very good futuristic translation they can implement to armor for each of the classes.

  • Yes I do know in reality they did not have horns on their helmets. Pop culture made that a common misconception.
