Make Sleeper Simulant Great Again
Dear Bungie -
Sleeper Simulant is currently useless. I propose a change. Sleeper Simulant currently does not create Warmind Cells on kills, even though it is an Ikelos weapon that should create Warmind Cells. Sleeper Simulant also has significantly lower DPS numbers than most other heavy exotic weapons.
My proposed change, with Warmind Cell mods equipped, a Major Kill or Mini Boss kill with Sleeper Simulant generates an XL Warmind Cell that has increased power over a standard Cell. This increases the use of an exotic, and offers a unique perk to this specific exotic, which is what we want with exotics.
P.S. Can we get an emote of our guardians dunking a teabag in a cup? Call it "English sunrise".

Edited by DOCLARK87: 3/21/2021 5:34:58 PMI don't think warmind cells are the answer. I would gladly see Bungie remove it's scatter and buff the damage for it to be top tier DPS again. Basically return it to it's D1 glory, with the catalyst making it a bit better. Edited for redundant language

Adding cells to the weapon would not directly fix the issue of it currently being trash, but would be cool I guess. The gun as well as the entire gun archetype NEEDS a damage buff, regardless of Bungie’s seasonal archetype favoring. Like Bungie can choose whatever archetype they want the meta to be, but either way if it’s going to be linear fusions or not, they need a buff. I would also like to see an intrinsic perk revamp that would make the gun more appealing/ make those ricochet rounds more useable.... because they are pretty cool and satisfying to use correctly and efficiently.

Instead of fixing invaders in gambit and how they work they nerf a gun that was great in PVE. Someone made a horrible decision there.

Once they nerfed Sleeper years ago, they killed it! Its never been the same and nobody uses it anymore. I miss it. Linear heavies need major buff and rework

Yes, needs damage buff and bounce damage reinstated. Warmind cells would be nice. According to Ehroar’s testing, legendary Threaded needle does more damage than Sleeper.

2 RepliesThe weapon itself needs a buff. Making it drop an XL cell is just putting it in the ruinous effigy category, just a random "fun" gun. Would barely increase usage.
