Dear bungie, f garden

Ffffffff garden. It’s cancer. Garden of salvation is the most disgusting, unenjoyable, broken part of destiny currently in the game. Fix it. I cannot tell you how long I have spent in failed divinity runs that end at the boss. Here are a few things that would make the raid incalculably more fun to play. 1. Extend the boss damage phase an extra 10-15 second. This one fix would all but guarantee that competent raid teams get consistent two phases. This is not an overhaul, it’s very easy. 2. Iron out some of the tether bugs. Some players become permanently “tethered” and unable to defend themselves after the status effect glitches it’s way into being permanent. 3. Make platform tethers longer and more forgiving. Evaluate rules about tether points closing automatically to prevent players from getting stuck in tether, unable to close the anchor by themselves. 4. Adjust the frequency of platforms disappearing. Put it on a long timer, 2:00 or so instead of every portal. 5. Create more clear lulls between waves. Like in between the 4th extinction protocol and the 5th extinction protocol on atraks, make it obvious to players that a certain time is for rebuilding. 6. Fix the notes Falling through the floor and the unnecessary instant death spots. This is easy mop up work that should have been done before or soon after the release of shadow keep. There are so many improvements to be made in every encounter, but the boss is the biggest problem. GoS could be a beautiful hallmark raid like VoG if you bothered to clean it up and make it playable. Right now, it’s a torturous grind that people only tolerate to get one of the most meta exotics in the game, and then NEVER TOUCH AGAIN. I welcome comments, critiques, and further ideas to improve Garden, and bring it back into the realm of playable enjoyable content that D2 has to offer.

    Nah Garden is fine besides the few bugs you’ve mentioned. - Boss dps phases are plenty long enough and reward skilled teams who can put out high dps. - Not having a clear time to build adds to the hectic fight and again rewards teams who can manage time well and are efficient It’s fine

    • So here's my input on garden. Other than small bugs and what not it's perfectly fine. Me and a few friends do carries and have gotten over 100 people divinity/first clear in garden. All together. The motes disappearing is a pain. And the teather glitches a pain too. But the damage phase is long enough. I've put our 1.2m damage a phase with whisper. I've seen other members put out more or similar with xeno. Repairing floors that get taken, each time you kill a wave of ads you can immediately do a repair and then back to ad clear or get motes teams in/out. Garden has no problems except the known glitches you've stated.
