What would you change in Destiny 2 ?
We can’t change everything in Destiny, but if you could recommend 5 important changes to Destiny what would they be?

Arcstrider being as outdated as Y1 of destiny 2.

1. Either remove sunsetting entirely (un-sunset the old weapons still affected) OR add new weapons to replace them. [Example - last time I checked there were only 3 legendary kinetic auto rifles that weren't sunset and we're reasonable to obtain. That's not changing the meta, that's just deleting it.] [Ps. If I'm wrong about the number of auto rifles please tell me, I'd love to find out there were more options.] 2. Shaders on exotic weapons. I don't understand how a shader makes it any harder to identify an exotic sidearm from across the map as both me and my opponent are dashing in and out of cover... Nobody can "see" it in that sense so I might as well be able to color coordinate my gear. [PS. I don't play trials or take pvp too seriously so I accept my opinion is less valid on this point.] 3. Choices should have in game consequences. Choosing to explore the darkness should slightly alienate you from the vanguard, and doing vanguard strikes should limit your access to the darkness. Their should be an advantage and disadvantage either way allowing players to choose based on what they value more. I think it would upset the current atmosphere quite a bit but ultimately make the game feel more emersive and much less stagnant. [Yes I realize how much it would change the game, I just think it would be cool if the story felt like it mattered a little more.] 4. It should be possible to re-aquire every unlocked legendary weapon. Have random rolls for world drops, and an unchanging base roll for re-aquired gear. Alternatively the randomized gear could just get more expensive each time you re roll from collections. 5. Europa is boring, everywhere you look it's just more ice. Bring our other planets back.

Better Raids and bigger raids i feel like raid bosses have went down in terms of quality and raids are much shorter now DSC had a reskinned raid boss i want raids like Wrath and kings Fall boss fights like Aksis, golgoroth, War Priest, Oryx

Reissued guns should have new perk possibilities Annual vendor loot refresh More dungeons Bigger raids 500% damage buff to linear fusion rifles in pve (except sleeper, it can have like 20%)

1 Reply1) Add a harder difficulty for every raid (contest, herioic, prestige, whatever) 2) Add a catalyst to every exotic gun that doesn't have one and always introduce exotics with them 3) Focus on making GOOD content (raids, secret missions, good strikes, pvp maps, etc) and LESS garbage content (Public Events for a season, zero difficulty missions, etc) 4) 5500 Comp Weapon and a PvP overhaul (new maps, new/returning pvp modes, actual loot and incentives) 5) Weapons 2.0 (see kujay video)

I would put snipers back in the special slot(whisper and darci), stop sunsetting of armors, bring back strike scoring and remove stasis from crucible or just remove the freezing effect from crucible only.

How would I change D2? Hmmm loaded question from a team that shoves modes of style play down players throats forcing them to play your way or they don't progress. Maybe NOT nerf a weapon because players enjoy using. Just so you can make a player play the game the way you want them to play. Seem kinda of dictator'ish and tryanical.

Anti-cheat Stop wasting Development time on things that benefit players and focus on Bugs that hinder game play. Anti Lag- if someone lags make it unplayable for the lagger. No more teleporting lock the player in place and they can't shoot. Nerf Shotguns Range to 6m ohk with 80% damage fall off after 7m. Slugs 10m with 50% damage after 11m.

Matchmaking for legend Nightfalls Difficulty scale those tiered lost sectors for multiple players (same chance of exotics) so we can play them with friends 👬 Tone down platforming in raids (more visibility and platform stickiness) Way to make this forum less toxic? Disheartening to see the negativity (Reddit DTG more informative) Bit more involvement of community managers in their own forum maybe?
