Stormcaller improvements ideas

HAHAAAAA, you fools thought I'd [i]actually[/i] talk about anything but titans? Well I did because I was bored and was randomly thinking about it. Stormcaller super change: Make ionic blink part of the super, not a node. Top tree: 1. Replace ionic blink node with new ability for super (can't think of a good name for it). Hold (hotkey to aim with weapons) while in super to charge up arc energy over 2.5 seconds. Upon reaching full charge, release to consume 23% super energy and chain more powerful lightning to nearby enemies. Can be overcharged up to 4x if you hold it longer and super energy equivalent to the stacks will be consumed. Pvp base damage, 275 per target per stack. 2. Transcendence: Now increases grenade and melee recharge when super energy is full (not on the equivalent of hollow fire, but still a bonus). 3. Chain lightning melee: Damaging multiple targets with this melee now restores 8% melee energy per target. Bottom tree: 1. Landfall: Can be recast while in super at the cost of 23% super energy by pressing (button you aim weapons with). Can be cast out of super for reduced damage and the cost of your rift ability while in the air by double tapping (crouch button). Pvp damage of weakened landfall, 100 damage. 2. Electrostatic surge: Enemies that enter a rift take slight arc damage over time Pvp damage, 15 damage per tick, 3 ticks per second (it's more of a gimmick, not reall designed to be an effective "keep away" tool like walking through a barricade). 3. Arc Soul: If you secure a kill with landfall, generate an arc soul (just to work with the new landfall ability out of super and in super). While in super, refresh arc souls timer and arc souls deal 25% more damage while chaining lightning to 1 nearby enemy within 8 meters if the initial target is damaged by arc soul (incentive for securing a landfall kill in super, or for going into super with arc soul). Pvp damage, 15 damage to target hit by chain lightning (keep in mind it hits 3 times, so it can deal 60 damage to 1 nearby enemy). Middle tree: 1. Ball Lightning: Increase it's horizontal hit box slightly. Holding the melee button will cause ball lightning to stop upon release and linger in place for 10 seconds. 2. Increase super damage resistance from 40% to 45%. 3. Extend super duration by 1 second. Notes: The "pvp damage numbers" are not there to specify that it's there to improve their capabilities in that mode, it's just to give you an idea of the amount of damage they could deal and potentially translate directly into pve.

  • I like that Ionic Blink replacement. Kind of like a charged electrical explosion... so Arc Nova Warp 😆. Although I dont think Ionic Blink should go anywhere. If anything it should be available on all Stormtrance variations, yes even on Chaos Reach. Not sure how that would work but hey... it would look badass.
