Regardless, I got banned for not even being able to join a game. Is there anything I can do to become un-banned?

Suspensions only last 30-60 minutes—they're automatically applied when leaving too many games for any reason and will automatically be lifted once that time expires. Did you receive any specific error codes when these disconnects happened?
