I want to address the weapon specific mods that are on the artifacts; the mods that give anti-barrier, staggers champions, and disrupts them. This season was pretty bad this time around, where it only includes swords, sidearms, auto rifles, hand cannons, and sub machine guns. Personally for me, I prefer using pulse rifles, bows, and machine guns. The weapon specific mods don't address these three, along with shotguns, fusion rifles, sniper rifles, rocket launchers, grenade launchers, etc. Pretty much the mods for this season for PvE bunker clearing and encounters with champion units is just limited to 5 weapons (someone please correct me if there are other weapons included). It forces me to use weapons that I'd prefer not to use, since I have a certain playstyle that I'm very accustomed to. I'd love to keep using my current loadout to play PvE. I also like the mods that allow us to deal with more challenging units in the game, so I'd prefer Bungie to rework the weapon specific mods to be universal mods rather than restricting them to certain weapons. I'm just one person within the community though. I'd like to hear the viewpoint from other members of this community. Should Bungie keep the weapon specific mods the way they are for future season, rework them to be universal, or just remove them altogether?
