I've been playing destiny2 since year 1 and I honestly still have a problem noticing when I am buffed. Not the self buffs like kill clip because you know when it's happening, but I'm talking about when someone shoots you with a noble round or something similar like that. If I am not looking for it, I would honestly have no idea. I only notice if my friend tells me, I see him buff me, or if I take my focus off the fight to look at another part of my screen. My friend says just look at your gun or the bottom left of the screen, but that's not where I'm looking when I'm in a firefight. If the buff was a little more visible or easier to notice, I could maybe play a little more aggressive.
I know the buffs were like this since destiny1, but a few of my friends who started from new light has this issue as well. Maybe if the text on the left side was a different color or if there were icons in the bottom center of your screen, sort of like borderlands, it would be a lot easier to notice. I've noticed the barrel's getting red hot on some guns a lot more than my gun glowing white when buffed.
Another suggestion is when we are viewing ships. I'm sure a lot of people want to know what the exhaust flame of the ship looks like as there are some with different colors. Especially if the ship happens to be silver only. We are spending real money on it, and we cannot see the full feature of what we are buying. Maybe when we preview it, we can right click to see the exhaust flames like the sparrows, or maybe just have it on by default.
One more specific request is about the Sentinel's Respite emote. I really wish there was a thud or some sort of sound when the shield hits the ground.
