Bring back a Campaign!! Here’s why:

I fully believe 95% of the problems in this game now stem from not having a campaign anymore. Ive been seeing similar posts and I want to put this as a viable solution. We haven’t had a campaign since shadow keep and that was meager. Lets look at Taken king and Forsaken those were the most enjoyable times destiny has ever seen, I for one could get over the issues of content because I had this still incredible dreaming city or dreadnaught with so much content. The story behind it was incredible as well. Not only that but we played the blinking story we didn’t read about it. (We read about the history and such in lore and I was fine with that) we had an understanding of what we were doing was helping the awoken people, saving the universe from literally some of the greatest threats its ever seen (and might I add those threats were pretty bad A... ie oryx, dul incaru, vorgeth, riven) we had loot that matched the areas and a lot of it. We had playable lore such as the gambit malfeasance mission which was hecka cool. Bounties were there and so were grindy exotic missions, but as a cherry on top of this amazing content. They were for those who were already done to get even better. In closing the lack of a progression from loser guardian to the climax of a raid or dungeon is severely limiting options for content, Id be slightly more okay with a dinky warmind vault as long as there was a story and some reasons behind it that weren’t in a cut scene and a mile long lore tab. If this ever reaches cozmo, please consider having a campaign again across seasons. Its been your biggest underlying strength. For a better example: the two saint 14 missions were incredible, I want more of that however. More of a play through oriented thing. With the grind activities after the fact and with better correlation to the story, like black armory or menagerie, had sundial had more variety and been longer and had a more interesting and expansive playing area I think it would’ve been great but it had three activities and was dreadfully repetitive after the first couple times. Especially with menagerie it was an activity i was actually excited to play over and over again. It was so much bigger and was also connected to a raid. So much creativity climaxing another part of the emperor calus’s story. That was story progression I could get behind, as menial as it may have seemed. Whether you disagree with small parts of what I said or not, I can edit accordingly. How else could a campaign help influence everything else? I genuinely want to see everyones opinion here
