Feel free to discuss season 7 of RWBY here. No spoilers here (at least not now). Also feel free to discuss anything else related to the show.

Wow, I think I’ve waited long enough to binge the rest of it. Time to watch!

Dang. You beat me to it. I have not seen the finale due to not being a First member. But overall, it's pretty good.
-
I haven't seen RWBY since S3. Does it still have that old charm?
-
Anything past season 3 is not as good.
As soon as I saw Oscar in episode 12, I just immediately thought that it was Neo. Also, RWBY vs Aceops was good, as well as Ironwood vs Watts.
Everything in the spoiler is chapter 12 and under, and so far, the show has improved a lot since volume 4-5, and I highly recommend coming back to it if you left during 4-5.

Haven't seen the finale, but I've been enjoying what I've been seeing so far, even if the show is still a little all over the place. Actual spoilers:
I feel like RWBY vs AceOps was what the finale of volume five wanted to be. Pretty decent fight choreography and animation. Some dumb lines here and there though. "We're the best huntsmen in Atlas" followed by "You were, but then you trained us." Made me cringe a little. One thing I also didn't get, was why Qrow agreed to team up with Tyrian to defeat Clover. Wouldn't it make way more sense for Qrow and Clover to team up on Tyrian? You know, the wanted serial killer and minion of Salem? Was Qrow just expecting Tyrian to disable Clover without doing any real damage before having an honourable duel with him before being arrested? I also didn't get how Neo, someone who could dodge attacks from both Yang and Cinder with ease, manages to get hit by a child running straight towards her while also screaming "NOOOO!" She should have dodged it. That's all I'm saying. It may sound like I'm being overly negative, but it's easy to be negative about RWBY. On the whole I have enjoyed the experience of volume 7, more or less. Qrow vs Clover vs Tyrian was a good fight, and I enjoyed Clover's death song quite a bit. I'll be looking out for that on the OST release. ORNJ vs Neo should be interesting and I'll be looking forward to how RT resolves both Cinder and the Winter Maiden and also Ironwood abandoning Mantle.
Its been hit and miss; some good stuff (tyrian, neo) but lots of unneeded (robin hill, penny, omb politics, ruby and yang hypocrite show, dust retcon).

I’ve never actually watched it. What’s it about exactly?

Edited by FastmanLeFast: 2/2/2020 7:35:27 PMI seriously can’t wait for the soundtrack this volume, definitely adding a couple new songs to my playlist. Actual spoilers below: (Finale too, should’ve clarified just in case people haven’t seen it)
still kinda wish neo would backstab cinder, maybe next volume since she clearly doesn’t like her. Also Penny becoming the winter maiden was certainly something I didn’t expect, though it does make sense in my eyes. Cinder should have definitely been hurt by the silver eyes thing at the end though, she was right in the centre and yet she was unharmed. Also yay Ozpin’s back and Oscar can use his magic(?) powers he inherited now which seriously took me by surprise. Also also poor qrow, I didn’t believe in the lucky charms thing but I think he’s still gonna take clover’s death pretty damn hard considering clover was the only (known) person capable of being near qrow without being harmed by the bad luck. I feel that qrow needed that sort of person in his life and him being killed will seriously affect him, maybe he’ll start drinking again, wonder if they’ll give him booze in prison... (oof btw) All in all good volume and good ending in my opinion, Salem riding in on a giant Grimm whale sets up the tone for next volume I think lol, people are going to die...
Watched the finale, this volume is rivaling Volume 3 as my favorite.

Man, it's been literal years since I've seen a RWBY thread on this site.
