Please make raid encounters farmable.

With the amount of RNG in the game, with how a wrong perk makes you destroy an almost perfect weapon, being able to try your chance at raid loot only 3 times per week is ridicolous, maybe the first completition should reward powerful/pinnacle gear but the next ones normal gear, raid chests could still stay weekly, of course.

  • They shouldn't have made raid loot random rolls and kept then static and unique. Honestly one if the worst decisions and nobody ever complains about it, even though it's one of the most impactful things to pve players

Both had bad rolls. :(

        Agreed I would actually want to raid more if I knew that I could overcome rng purposely phucking me over in my pinnacles with content repeats. And finally get some raid weapons and gear that never drop cause the same items drops every time I do gos

        • I’m not even fussed about pinnacle/powerful (I’ll just infuse something into it) But I would love the curated roll weapons (say a guaranteed type to drop from a ‘specific’ chest ....A ‘mod applicable’ Inaugural Address to drop from Gauntlet, for instance Or an ‘element free’ pair of Arms from LW Ogre (Bungie at least make [b]every[/b] bloomin Raid armour into an ornament) That kind of reward would be great

        • They could be weak drops, like that one chest in every raid now. Unfortunately, most people will be status quo on this issue Nay

          I still don't have the 1KV and would love to be able to farm the chests just for a chance at it. I wouldn't even care if the chest didn't give any rewards after the first completion. Just a continued chance every run of getting these RNG exotics would be better that trying for it 3 times then waiting a full week just to try again. Not getting a raid exotic sucks, but it sucks more to not get it then wait... It's like standing in line at a amusement park, no one really likes that. You just want to do the ride or game. Borderlands does it and it's fun! Get to boss/raid boss complete the encounter get a chance at the loot, quit out and repeat. We are still putting in the work and grind to get it. It would just be a little faster (maybe/hopefully) I personally don't see the problem with implementing something like this (for the RNG based raid exotics) because isn't that the whole point of a "looter shooter" game... Play game and hopefully get reward. Edit: Most importantly have fun though!

        • You don't want to do this, it will create a further divide between the raiding and non-raiding community. If you can get rewards from every run, the motivation will be to do them as quickly as possible. I think a good compromise would be to add repeated drops from Guided Games raids if you are a Guider, this way, it creates incentive to help the community learn how to do raids.

        • I think Destiny should treat raids like FFXIV does. After 4-5 months after a raid releases the Savage mode (that's where you are going to farm for gear in that game) looses its weekly lockout so you can farm the raid as much as you want after that 4/5 month wait because it allows players to finish the content and be ready for the next raid content.

        • It took me 30+ runs each to get Tarrabah and Anarchy. I still know lots of people to this day who raid often but they still don't have those or 1k. Making it possible to more runs per week, on the basis that only the first run gives powerful/pinnacle, seems very reasonable to me. It would also probably boost the numbers of people doing those raids when they're new to the benefit of anyone trying LFG.

              • Honestly. Still have never dropped the No Feelings scout and I want one with Box breathing. Would love to farm Last Wish scout with kill clip rampage which I also HAVE NEVER dropped. Garden of Salvation Bow with No distractions would be dope. Etc etc...

                • There are a lot of things I don't like about this game... But I think it's good the way it is. Smart drops for loot the more you try is a great way to balance this. But unlimited drops would make raids irrelevant almost instantly.

                • I posted something very similar to this and got almost no response. I think a raid is hard work and should reward loot evertime it is completed. I would not care what light leve.
