When the message initially popped up, I thought it would say "you can now buy a shirt or replica of Devil's Ruin" Not this crap.
Eververse is a thing, and probably will always be a thing, but it doesn't have to be the pop up news message I get telling me that spending money is the best way to show off my new gun....

2 RepliesIt's annoying. They can't use these pop-ups for things that actually matter, e.g. disabling an exotic, announcing the wish-ender nerf, etc. But when Eververse is concerned, oh boy can they shove it in your face.

5 RepliesEh, don't care about their in-game ads for Eververse. I am more disappointed in the cost of items. I never bought any in Fortnite. Cause 15-20 dollars for one armor set is beyond idiotic. The season pass is cheaper than one armor set from Eververse, which we probably shouldn't mention or they'll jack the price of the season passes to be in line with their dumb item prices. All in all, you just had to press escape (or whatever console button it is) and go about your normal business. Hell, they could play ads while I am loading into a planet and I wouldn't care. Lol. Don't tell em I said that though, unless it lowers the price of Eververse items.

3 RepliesNo joke uninstalled the game when i saw that. As someone who has been on and off Destiny since the beta of D1, ive seen all the highs and lows of this franchise. And yet, nothing is more pathetic or scummy, than all of this horse shit going on now. They are doing the exact, literal thing they promised they wouldn't way back when Eververse first arrived in D1. Eververse would remain cosmetic only, have no impact on gameplay, and be able to earn everything in the store through dismantling and acquiring gold dust. Nothing in Eververse would affect your character, other than making you look cooler. And theres no one to blame other than the monkeys who have been actively supporting and spending money on this embarrassing garbage. 1 armor set worth 15 dollars, 3 finishers worth 20 dollars, one weapon skin for 10 dollars, 1 exotic emote 10-15 dollars. And you idiots think you're so special wearing it. Every max level elitist i see running around with Eververse exclusive gear makes me physically embarrassed. This game is a lost cause, and checking in on the forums throughout this whole process solidifies nothing will change, because kids continue to waste real money.

4 RepliesOne of my biggest problems with the game right now is it always feel like Bungie is asking for money. Base game, DLC, Expansions, Seasons, Eververse refreshes, Eververse Events, Bungie Store, Bungie Rewards; all that and I feel like I forgot another 3 ways I can pay Bungie. It just gets kind of tiresome, especially when you feel like that money isn't going back into the game to make it deeper and better, just into pockets and grease to keep the money making machine going
