Well you're right in a way that aim assist is usually the single largest reason on consoles for the popularity of any weapon.
The moment I hear someone say that they find this particular weapon crisp, I just check the aim assist stat and it's usually pretty high.
People deny this fact that they are not the ones aiming, it's just the stat doing it for you otherwise they would be good with any other weapon of the same archetype even if it has low aim assist.
This is the reason why people crutch on things like MIDA, Spare Rations, etc.

Redrix has a low AA and still feels forgiving.

Only skilled players use that gun well.

Edited by ZombieQahnaarin: 12/23/2019 3:52:23 AMSame could be said for any weapon. Bite of the Fox and Revoker have low AA and are easy to use. Also OP is being a hypocrite, they're using Supremacy one of the highest AA snipers.

How is that being a hypocrite? They never they didn't use weapons with high aim assist. That would be saying 'this weapon is so good, I'm not going to use it'. It can still be a problem even if you're using it yourself.
