I don't know its elitism or just some people brain dead but i had a guy last in lfg group last night and he was like ''should i invite this 965 guy he has clears but his light is low''
We were like dafuq? its enough... Then he invited the guy and said, don't you play the game bro why are you 965, i legit wanted to leave there but since the rest of the group didn't make that BS keep going i stayed the 965 dude stayed as well and we finished it.
Seriously why kids are idiots these days?

Had a group say I had to handle the easy stuff because I was only 700 light level. We were playing Scourge of the Past.

Now you see why I haven't raided since Curse of Osiris. As far as I know, (been playing Destiny and D2 since Taken King) Destiny's LFG raiding community has always been like this: full of toxic elitists that expect you to know the raid inside and out, have the optimal gear for the raid, and be able to do it perfect with no wipes from day one. I know I'm exaggerating, but the fact that I've seen "KWTD" posts in LFG the day the raid opens lends some realism to what I said. Now, I know what some of you would say. "Why not just raid with your clan or make your own fireteam post?" These are good points, but for the following: 1) too many people seem to want to be carried through the raid without contributing to it; 2) too many people don't know what to do but say they do, which ruins it for the whole team; 3) too many people are extremely toxic, which puts others off, not only to raiding in D2, but to the game in general; and 4) my clan is dead, as are many clans in this game. Now, I know this sounds like the whining of a Hunter main who's salty he doesn't have Orpheus Rig in order to be useful amidst the group of five Well-locks and the one guy who was allowed to bring his Titan because he's friends with the fireteam leader. (I'm a Titan main that favors Code of the Commander, in case you're curious) But this is a long-standing problem with no easy solution.

Edited by Golden: 11/10/2019 1:48:31 AMSimilar Experience Last Week. Finally decided to raid again. So 3 of my friends decided to do it with me and help me out. We LFG'd for 2 randos, both 967 and apparently with 10+ clears. Long Story short, my first time doing the raid I made 1 mistake out of the whole raid which was a the boss, accidentally walking into the tether when the others were tethering the boss. The 2 other randos did fine up until the boss. They forgot to go into portals in their selective team 1 and 2. They didnt kill cyclops's nor take down shields on the ads and sometimes forgot to turn in their motes.
