Banshee in destiny 2 is very irrelevant. The only thing he ever gives are masterwork bounties which 1. doesn't solve the masterwork core problem and 2. Not even worth it. You're only getting 3 masterwork cores daily plus the 2 weekly bounties, thus making you get 23 mcs per week assuming you've done all the daily bounties and the weekly bounties. IT TAKES 17 MASTERWORK CORES TO FULLY MASTERWORK A WEAPON. You only get 6 masterwork cores that week. Banshee has almost never sold a target adjuster mod nor a counterbalnce mod. Getting weapon parts to get a package from him is annoying. Sure it's easy to get weapon parts but it's a 100 parts you need to get a package. Blue gear only gives one, legendary gear 3, and exotics 5. It's going to be painfully annoying to grind gear for parts. When you get your package it's a very small chance that you'll get a god roll of a weapon you want already knowing the fact that you'll not get the weapon you want most of the time. Armsday and weapon bounties can solve this problem (but not the awful masterwork core problem we have) Armsday is when you order the weapons that Banshee has to offer the week before. When you order the weapons you have to wait a week from wednsday. The next wedsnday you're weapons come and you have 3 rolls to choose from and you can pick the roll that you think is the best. This can help with the annoying grind to get the weapon you want with the god roll. This also can open up the chance for introducing new exotics or return the exotics we know and love and also hate. There were 5 exotic quest that Banshee offered in destiny 1. There were the three class exclusive weapon quest that rewarded you with getting the Tlaloc warlock scout, the Fabian Strategy titan auto rifle, and the Ace of Spades hunter Hand Cannon. There was also the timegated Sleeper quest and The First Curse Hand Cannon. Bungie can possibly bring the 3 remaining weapons or any other old exotic and/or introduce new exotic. Bungie can do the same thing with the old armsday weapons return them and/or add new weapons. The weapon bounties are tasks you have to do that the weapon requires you to do. Sometimes they are easy sometimes they are hard. Bungie could add at least 10 weapon parts for completing one bounty alongside a random mod and at least 1 masterwork core. This could be added alongside the bounties Banshee already has to improve the masterwork core issue. Returning Armsday could potentially solve a lot of problems as well as adding more weapons and something extra to look forward to every week. I thank you for taking your time to read this.
