You’re not speaking for me. D1 communication and updates were terrible - if anyone remembers that. There is way more open communication now, specifics on buffs/nerfs/drop rates (including numbers, when did that happen in D1), and far more frequent iterative updates. The problem is the sense of entitlement in a segment of the player base. Like any company is going to just tell the public everything about their inner workings. And the thing is, it wouldn’t even accomplish anything anyway. People would still complain and second-guess and trash talk out of ignorance.

D1 was a much better game in all, yes it had its issues but it was a much better game. Their communication could have been better though.
