How about Rumble Pinnacle weapons?
The name says it all.
Everyone for themselves - no being carried, no concerns about team stacks and if a player leaves because they're losing, only their progress is affected, if anything it rebalances the odds for those who stick around.
No more being thrown against stacks of sweats and if you can't hold out against a team of 3/4, maybe you will do better in a free-for-all environment - regardless, it's an alternative for everyone.
People are looking for a challenge so try getting them to play alone for weapons they can only earn by themselves. It levels the playing field for solo players and those who play as a team.
I've discussed it with multiple fireteams in the last few months and they've all agreed, so I'm sure I'm not alone.

The downside is that BungLe will make a pinnacle weapon like a sniper and u have to get 50,000 precision kills with snipers, complete 1000 Rumble matches, win 1st place 100 times using nothing but sidearms (yes! I said sidearms), get 40,000 grenade kills, 80,000 melee kills, 10 super kills (just 10), 1,000,000,000 orbs of light created (yes! That's 1 billion orbs)....and a loss takes away 2% of your current totals in ALL categories. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I'm in the keep PvP stuff cosmetic so if that was the case then I would totally be down for exclusive rumble rewards

3 RepliesI'm about to start 25 Rumble matches for the Redriks Broadsword quest so if Bungie could deliver this for the weekend that would be great. I'm thinking... dual-wield sidearms.

3 Repliesbecause then the ppl the run the other pnnacles will get that to. i went into rumble( waste of time for me) 1 guy left 1 minute in, i was kill by dust rock once, nf 10 times at least, luna just less than nf, erentil a few times. i got 1 kill. even in rumble its just sweaties.

Edited by ClovenTrack620: 4/10/2019 2:33:46 AMRumble really helps you improve your skills cause there's always gonna b more 1on1 Engagements in a Slayer mode, it's you against every1 & every1 against you, you always gotta be on your Top game if u wanna win, instead if relying on 3 other people to get it done for you soo yeah, Rumble should have Pinnacle Rewards just like "Competitive" (Pinnacle PvP Armor Sets)wouldn't be so bad either

1 ReplyI’ve been protesting this for a while. I actually don’t agree too much with the idea of making comp easier for solo queue but I do think there should be solo PvP pursuits and you address all the reason why in your OP.

I'm with you my dude, there should be PVP pinnacle weapons obtainable through quickplay modes, but that being said. You do know your stats are visible right? With that kd/kda/winrate, you wouldn't be getting those weapons in quickplay either. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to look down on you, my kd/kda/winrate are basically the same as yours so I'm in the same boat, I'm just saying it how it is. Our problem isn't that the playing field isn't leveled. Our problem is that we're in a trench.

2 RepliesEdited by ShaxxCousin: 4/10/2019 12:27:20 AMI’ve been saying they should make a Competitive Rumble playlist. 1st place gets points. 2nd and 3rd don’t get points but they also don’t lose any. 4th-6th place loses points. And then give it a pinnacle weapon or let it count as comp for other pinnacle weapons to be obtained so you don’t have to worry about getting terrible teammates against full squads. I really think Bungie doesn’t like solo players in the back of their minds. They might add some stuff here and there for solo, but their intentions for this game is to force you to find people to play with. Even if you have to use app out of the game because they don’t want to implement proper matchmaking.
