turn off the auto start in reckoning
it is an issue.
edit : different people have different reasons it is an issue. mine is spcifically when i finish the event and want to go again but 3 people leave so im alone. im not that good to solo this. it needs to finish the matchmaking before restart.
with this slow ui sometimes it takes longer to input another synth to mote thing before its no longer available to put in the bank.

We'll also be looking to see if we can get statistics on how often the activity is failed for reasons given in this thread - lacking a player at launch, players not matching in until the end of the attempt, things like that.

4 RepliesIt should only start when someone puts a mote in the bank... I truly don't understand the logic behind automatic starts. It contributes[i] nothing[/i] to the game except rushing people when they're not ready. At least if someone starts then, at a bare minimum, one person is ready. No one wants to start a forge by themselves and waste time (well, at least Burgusia, I suppose the others are mostly solable now) No one wants to start a tier of reckoning by themselves. To even have a chance at gaining percentages you would have to spam heavy and supers like a mad man just to barely break above even. Raids don't work this way for obvious reasons. Preparation is a necessity. Other activities should be given the same courtesy.

Yep, definitely an issue. Leavers are also an issue. People not preparing loadouts on T3 is also an issue. Maybe we should have a lobby where we can equip loadout for team, press ready button and when all 4 confirm - start the game. For the past 2 hours i am bouncing tether/glalanors based on team structure. Never finished T3 with randoms :(

EDIT: Casuals are what turned D1 into D2. They dumbed it down. Its the people that come from D1 that feel let down by all these core features being removed. You cant make the game for everyone. Trying to make it for everyone is what ruined it. As one of the hardcore players, I believe it should have stuck to its roots and enchanced key pieces that made it Destiny.

That way if one or more guardians leave you can chill until your fireteam has been filled. Then also that way if people don't have a raid banner they can still wait out their supers before dropping in. Easy fix and no negative impact on anyone. QOL

7 RepliesAlthough it is a pain, I use it to my advantage. Start the match and go kill stuff. If you lose so what, you get your mote back anyway. It's free kills towards a prime engram.

Can Bungie make it so it will start once someone put in the mote or something like that? I mean we can all wait till all joined in and activate the bank to start up?

1 ReplyThey should use Black Armory way to initiate Reckoning. Black Armory style is good. We can roam freely in the area without having to worry about the mission to start. On the other hand in Reckoning, there are lore tabs in the area and we are screwed if someone in our team focusing on searching the lore tabs. Same with Blind well, it should use BA style of initiation.

It's the same crap as happened with "The Forge". Since that still isn't fixed, I'm guessing this will never be fixed either. Clearly Bungie expects everything to be played by a Fire Team - and woe be you if you are a Solo player.
