Random Anteater Error Codes (with video for demonstration)

This has been going on for about a month or two. I moved to D2 on pc in warmind and never got this many anteater error codes before. The usual/occasional weasels and whatever other error codes including anteater, but until these past few months I've been getting this error code at such annoying rates: 1. In between crucible matches causing me to get just re-put into the match immediately but at the cost of wiping my stats and ammo. 2. During raids where i, again, lose all but primary ammo and have to be revived by a teammate using up that rez token, same goes for any other pve activity except its not as meaningful because i don't waste a rez token but i still lose my ammo. 3. Even at the tower(footage provided in YT video linked), just in my inventory or walking around i randomly get kicked and reconnected into the tower for no apparent reason. That seems to be the only thing it does, disconnects you and immediately reconnect you, at the cost of your ammo and stats, and you're also put in dead if you're in a pve activity and re spawning(obviously) if in pvp. The only real time its affected me in a crucible match has been in a crimson doubles match last month(footage also provided in YT video linked) where i got anteater coded mid end-of-round screen and beginning the next round. I was spawned into the enemy side in front of the enemy as they had already spawned maybe a couple seconds before, i got killed as i wasn't aware of the situation i was in, and then to top it all off it must've bugged my respawn as i had a message saying an ally had to revive me, except my ally could do no such thing for the rest of the round as there was no option to revive me. I thought it might've been an ISP issue for some reason, so allow me to explain my current network setup: Main Modem---(is connected via ethernet to)--->router---(which is connected via ethernet to)--->PC My setup has been like this for years with no problemo so i doubt a random issue could've been caused by this setup. I even reset my router to factory setting and still no fix. I went as far as contacting my ISP, getting a MB plan update up to 100Mb download speed, up from 20MB(which i have always had before and never had this issue up until a couple months ago as previously mentioned BTW). The ISP sent a technician to upgrade our main modem, so clean and brand new modem boi, got my download speed increase and all, but the issue persists. Better newtork quality overall but that's obviously expected. The anteater error code persists. I don't know what to do anymore.

 • Hey there. Appreciate you reaching out to us about your issue. ANTEATER is a general networking error. This usually indicates that something is going on with your network or internet service provider. If your internet connection is being used for anything else besides playing the game, such as watching a movie or streaming, it's recommended to quit those programs when playing the game. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
1. Clearing your console cache or Performing a Scan and Repair in the Battle.net app 2. Power cycling your internet router 3. Review our guide on improving latency and packet loss to see if that might help 4. Following our Network Troubleshooting Guide for best optimizing your connection to Destiny.
