Change my mind. (before everyone goes stat checking and says I suck, I'm not claiming to be a crucible god, just stating I'm not intimidated by these hand cannons.) I grinded out the luna last season solo and don't even use it. Sure it's a nice weapon, I'd say its very comparable to the pistol from Halo 1 if you guy's can remember that. Definitely a solid slot choice for any crucible player for sure, however, it is not whatsoever overpowered and neither is the not forgotten. I got the luna running bygones and telesto, ran it for a while with a sniper but, ever since they fixed 150 scouts, I've been loyal to the polaris lance and smuggler's word. Both of these weapons beat the hand cannons. Perhaps, not by sheer TTK values, although smuggler does beat it when they are in range, but by playstyle more than anything. As I mentioned, the smuggler beats them both up close, the polaris beats them far away, tailor how you play around this idea and I promise you won't have an issue outgunning them. Sure, there's going to be moments where they win, they switch to a shotgun and scrub you out, you get three tapped in the back/side, but on average you are going to come out on top.
