Bungie's Demise
It is insanely depressing seeing a company that I used to love, who made some awesome Halo games back in the day, fall to shit with their incompetencies with PvP in this franchise. PvE is amazing, but Jesus their PvP is utter ogre shit. Janky hit boxes, inconsistent TTK and overall balancing issues kill this. Everyday it seems like they work towards driving players away, rather than listening to any of this feedback.

2 RepliesBalance? The battle rifle was the best gun in the game since it existed. With the newer CBMM hitboxes make much more sense I don't get shot through walls and such. Apparently I'm the only person in the universe who doesnt get 6 stacks stomping me any time I solo que into anything.

They did it to themselves. They should have built on lessons learned from Destiny 1. Instead, they thought 2 + 2 = 22 and decided to go in a completely bizarre direction. They still seem to firmly believe that doing the same thing over and over again, gets them a different result.

Pve really isnt that great either, especially compared to D1. Bungie just sucks now and microsoft was probably responsible for halo pvp seeing as how these days halo’s pvp is the only good part of the game.

1 ReplyThe game isn't made for pvp, it's just a little part of the game. the game itself is centered around pve, telling a story and making us feel powerful during it. Yeah they messed that up in the beginning, but forsaken has fixed that and made it so good. Bungie have made a fantastic improvement since the launch of Forsaken

So you think that the PvP is what makes this game? Halo yes but destiny no. Destiny wasn't built around being a competitive shooter.

How are they in a state of demise while delivering “amazing” pve content just because you don’t like the state of pvp? Probably about 80% of the content if pve and they did an amazing job according to you so I think to say the company is in a state of demise is a bit drastic. I’m not saying the pvp is perfect or even great but it’s enjoyable about half the time depending on how your opponents play.
