I've found myself using more year 1 weapons over year 2 for many worthless reasons like design and firing sound, but for more meaningful things like handling, magazine sizes etc.
Since I don't like ANY year 2 auto rifle, sniper rifle, or fusion rifle, it's annoying how I can't just slap on a back up mag or a counterbalance mod.
My favorite snipers are the occluded finality and the trials one the long walk.
I don't like the new snipers very much.
Let me try out duty bound with a counterbalance mod or something, please.

Me to. If you get the weapon again in year two it should be able to add mods. Same with prestige sets of raid armour or raid activities. If it’s prestige and completed in year two - it can have a mod. Same as sins or the weapons. The armour should drop at old light but be upgradable as year two armour and perks.

Not only that, put masterwork rerolls into the new weapons instead of just the old ones.

Edited by BackdoorBacon: 11/26/2018 12:30:20 PMI have to say this feels like a way to push people into purchasing forsaken. I don’t see a practical reason why they didn’t do this. I love forsaken and I’ve put hundreds of hours in so I’m not hating on the DLC only their abandonment of old weapons and armor.
