Thoughts on the new

I am fully embracing the idea of pinnacle weapons that have unique perks. The idea that there are quests to get a unique reward is something I think should go a long way for the game. I hope this sort of feature stretches into strike exclusive weapons as it would add so many new and unique weapons to play with. I like what I'm seeing so far, but I hope you expand more on the weapon archetypes you use in the future. The first auto rifles being a 450 rpm auto is honestly kind of bland considering how many good weapons of that archetype we already have. None of them are particularly bad, but I feel like it's not the right archetype to use right now. Even though 600 rpm are kind of meh, I think this archetype better suits the idea of stacking rampage because they can put out damage more quickly. And a bigger mag etc etc. I hope that you give this auto rifle some form of ammo regen after kills to make it more valuable, because increasing fire rate on the 450 rpm with their mag sizes isn't really...a good idea. Look at suros with spinning up. It's way too small for a weapon designed to fire faster and having a 900 rpm auto bullethose would be awesome as a throwback. The new grenade launcher sounds interesting as hell, but you made a big mistake turning this into the PvP pinnacle weapon. Single shot grenade launchers suck in pvp. They are too inconsistent and having to reload after every shot is really annoying as well as boring when most have such pathetic blast radius. Please, if you plan to make this a pinnacle PvP weapon, buff all light weight grenade launchers to fire 2-3 rounds between each reload and increase the base blast radius. Fighting lion has the right blast radius, but it's slow and unreliable in crucible, especially since lag and aoe don't mix. The new fusion. Looks interesting for a fusion rifle. The idea of an increased damage burst on a full battery and explosion on kills is nice. I just have 1 bit of feedback and 1 question. Make the damage buff a temporary one for the entire magazine for when it's full. A single shot unless it's ridiculously powerful, like bungie said in their post, isn't very useful against trash mobs. Fusions aren't dps weapons and usually are only used for this type of role. However, damage is more important because so many good weapons in this game can ad clear. Like I said, have it grant a 3-5 second damage buff while the battery is full. Having a full mag isn't always the most common thing, and a single trigger pull will usually only be used on a group of trash mobs and having that extra damage would be...pointless and insanely situational. My question was if the explosion on death is a consistent feature or one tied to the main damage perk. It says: "when your battery is full, your next burst will deal bonus damage and cause enemies to explode." Some clarity on this would help. How do the rest of you feel?
