Antaeus Wards, early April fools joke?
Hi, so Im making this post in hopes to create a discussion with my fellow titans on what you guys think about the Antaeus wards exotic legs, do you guys think they’re viable and able to compete with other titan exotics? I personally find them to be abit of a joke exotic which means that the idea behind them is pretty solid and unique like the EAON exotic gauntlets but in practice they fail to find a place in the sandbox and or meta due to how circumstantial they are. Also I suggest that a complete rework would fix this exotic, what should change in your opinion? Also don’t forget that one eyed mask exists guys, would you choose the wards over the mask?

However, it could be tweaked to be more forgiving, especially in head on fights; I've used it to great effect if I find that there are a few that are corner stalking...I'll just slide-around every corner. I swear I've tossed back some BB one time.

It's seems powerful but hard to proc. I feel it's better on PC because you can easily be going straight into the thing you're blocking due to the mouse

Basically invincible while slide shotgunning from stickies, grenade launchers, rockets, supers, etc. Everything that counters shotguns basically is muted. And we all know how much people love shotguns currently. They seem pretty good to me.

Slide around every corner for shotgun battles and you win all of them with a full auto shotty. They are very very good.

As a striker main that slides A LOT I would love to try them. Just can’t get them ugh. I find myself slideshotgunning in my Elo simply because people react too fast for you to just run at them. I have no clue if they suck but I’d love for them to be good it would really make for a great synergy with inertia override on the missile boi.

I deflected a blade barrage with it I’d say they are broken enough but some change might helpful

1 ReplyIf they weren't underwhelming with that perk then they'd be broken. There's just no way to make an exotic that reflects projectiles on a slide reliable AND balanced

I wouldn’t say it needs a complete rework but they definitely need a buff! I’ve been using them for about a week now and while they do come in clutch at times the exotic perk is definitely bugged and inconsistent and I made a post about this yesterday! Bungie needs to address this!
