It seems like the older armor such as the Escalation Protocol armor have no perks and is no longer used for anything outside of looks. Don't you think they should revamp the old armors and bring more variety into the game instead of replacing them with new gear+

Also Y1 weapons should have mods to have some sort of relevancy

Don’t worry we will probably get Reskins when faction rally returns
-
Make year one armor into ornaments, at a cost. Problem fixed.
-
All they need to do is slap on a new coat of paint on the armor and add Forsakens perk rolls. Anything else would probably be too much

I fully agree. I'd love to run around in my New Monarchy getup, or wear all those ornaments I earned during the past Iron Banners. Heck, I don't care if all the old sets have static rolls, I went through a lot to earn those sets and I'd like to wear them as useful gear!

Destiny is a fashion show and we need more variety

Edited by TheOldExplorer: 10/22/2018 4:28:15 PMAgree. I proposed that Bungie should buff the old armor the other way. Instead of giving this armor new perks, give it the second mod slot (since Y1 armor accepts Y2 mods). And decrease masterwork price. As a result, you exchange reload/weapon effectiveness/ammo finding to increased stats and ability recharge. Bungie can even cap the effect of each mod to 3 or 5 for balance purposes. Or even introduce some new cool armor mods: - Kinetic/energy/power surplus (more ammo from each pick-up); - Kinetic/energy/power weapon perfomance (a slight increase in reload, handling, stability and swap speed).

I just wanna use my vanilla IB armor with Dragon’s shadow again. I loved it, really really loved it.
