I did not receive a Queen's Bounty (Purification Ritual) when using an Offering to the Oracle

Hello, folks. TLDR: My fireteam friends gave the Oracle an Offering while I wasn't there and I didn't get a Purification Ritual bounty from the chest when I arrived on Mara's balcony. This week, I was in a fireteam with two friends in the Dreaming City, heading toward the Oracle to present our Offerings. My friends ran ahead of me, and one of them used their Offering. Just before I arrived, they entered into the heart of the Oracle and spoke with Queen Mara Sov. I arrived at the Oracle slightly later, entered the already-open portal and caught most of her speech. Then we opened up the loot chest to receive our Seed of Light and our Purification Ritual Queen's Bounty. My friends received their bounty but I did not, and when I checked my consumable inventory I found that my Offering item had actually been used. I already have a Purification Ritual in my inventory from a previous occasion, and thought that it might have prevented the receipt of a new one, but my friends told me they also have more than one, and that the one they received from Mara's chest was different to the one I already had. I've searched the web to see if these bounties are a guaranteed reward or if they have a drop chance but all discussion suggests they should definitely be received whenever using an Offering. There does seem to be some evidence that the actual objective of the bounty that players receive is selected from a list at random, so perhaps I did not receive a bounty this week because the game selected the one I already had? A more likely cause is that, because I was not in the Oracle room for the initial presentation of the Offering, did not witness the animation of its model or any associated dialogue, the game did not qualify me to be eligible to receive the bounty. However, it let me into the portal because I was in a fireteam with players who did qualify, and I was awarded the Seed of Light because it could be on the loot table for the chest regardless, or has different qualifying factors that do not take the ownership of an Offering into account. The consumption of my Offering could also have its own separate qualification. My experience could be a bug, or a flaw in the system which distributes the bounties, or some odd intentional behaviour. Either way, how these things are rewarded is not clear, and I feel like I have missed out. I play D2 on PC. Thanks, Matty
