As you can see in the video below, the Super deactivation gives about a fifth of the super bar by just activating and deactivating the Super. Is this intended? Because I have no idea why someone would cut more than half their Super duration for nearly zero energy recovery.
Could we reach a compromise? Maybe getting back half of the energy you didn't spend? Ex:
If you deactivate on 50% energy you get 25% back.
If you deactivate on 80% you get 40% back.
Right now it feels very low, and kind of pointless. If this is the balance it's supposed to have, why have it as an ability in the first place?
Activation and deactivation as soon as possible gives about 20 of the energy back even though we haven't spent even a 10% of the total:

Activation and deactivation at 75% gives about a 5% charge back:

Activation and deactivation at 50% gives 0% super charge back:

What I mean to say is, if you plan on returning nothing at all with a regular early deactivation(50%, for example) why make it a feature at all? I don't understand why people should be looking to use as short a burst of ult as they can only to get a meager reward. It doesn't make sense at all. I'd rather have an extra perk on that slot than having the deactivation thing, if the deactivation recovery is nearly nonexistent.
The only situation in which I see myself benefitting from this ability is if my finger had slipped and I had activated the ability without wanting to. And even then I'd be mad due to the recovered energy.

As I explained to the other individual: It would be massively overpowered if otherwise. It's a long range, practically insta-kill superweapon. I've killed seven taken thrall, one of them a major, spawned three orbs and deactivated to have 10% of my super already there. No. It's working as intended and WE do not need it increased at all.
